Truthfully this is more an excuse to try Godot engine out. Its an alright engine. The engine is lightweight. The 3D part of the engine is not so great, might be due to light mapping (Not sure just know to many objects and multiple lighting sources cause difficulties). However documentation is very good, granted Godot is an open source project and most docs typically are good. Everything being a node does make modifying objects quicker (Most of my experience is Unreal Engine). Communicating between scenes is a lot more simple to set up. Overall Godot seems to be a good engine but stick to 2D for now. UI related scaling may not be the best, then again I am new to Godot so may be me missing something
